The enactment of a law to establish TanTrade was a major step in concretizing the transformation process of trade in Tanzania. TanTrade has an extended mandate of developing both internal and external trade and regulating international trade fairs held in Tanzania. TanTrade is Tanzania’s premier national organization in the development and promotion of trade both domestic and international. The primary objective is to address bottlenecks that are facing traders, exporters and producers of goods and services with a view to increase the performance of the trade sector in the economy.
