The Tanzania Bakers Association (TBA) emerged as a pivotal entity officially registered in May 2021, dedicated to advancing the interests and welfare of bakery professionals and confectioners throughout the nation. Since its inception, TBA has played a crucial role in promoting collaboration, establishing governance structures, facilitating information exchange, offering capacity-building initiatives, providing learning opportunities, and advocating for the paramount importance of food safety and quality management in the baking industry.
TBA’s scope is inclusive, encompassing a diverse membership base ranging from home bakers to small, medium, and large-scale enterprises. This broad spectrum of membership reflects the association’s commitment to representing and supporting the entire spectrum of the bakery industry. Members hail from various regions of the United Republic of Tanzania, fostering a nationwide network of bakers who share knowledge, experiences, and best practices for the betterment of the industry as a whole.
